Our ground drive manure spreaders offer great flexibility, and subject to size can be pulled by a variety of devices from small ride-on mowers and ATV’s to 4×4’s and tractors, or even horses (with a hitchcart). No PTO hook up is required, or the cost and complexity of an add-on engine to make the spreader work. Just the simple action of the wheels turning during forward motion (typically around 5-6mph) is all that is required to achieve a powerful and effective spreading action.
We offer four different sizes from the Model 27 (with a capacity of 0.75m3, typically around half a Tonne of wet manure), up the the Model 77 (with a capacity of 2.0m3, typically around one and half Tonnes of wet manure).
Model selection is typically down to a variety of factors including the amount of manure to be spread and the frequency of spreading, the availability and power of the towing device and the steepness and severity of the land on which it will be used.
