- 3.08m3 (4.03 cu yds) heaped capacity (that’s typically up to around 2.5 ton fully laden with well rotted wet manure)
- Low height of just 99cm (39″) for easy hand or mechanical loading, and only 2.06m (6’9″) overall width
- Like all Millcreek spreaders, the ’97’ is often used for spreading materials other than manures, including compost and green waste, grass clippings, bark mulch, sand/rubber mixes (riding surfaces) and fresh cut long stalk grasses for specialist pasture rejuvenation projects
Exactly the same body length and height as the Model 77, the Model 97 is simply widened by 46cm (18″) to increase capacity by 50%, with appropriate modifications including a heavier duty axle, six bolt wheels and wider 12 ply tyres to accommodate the bigger payload.
With only a 25hp tractor requirement, the Model 97 is a welcome addition to many larger equine establishments and a diverse range of smaller farming ventures…

Hugh James –
Purchased our Millcreek 97P in 2010 since then using it daily to fill with fresh horse manure, and weekly-sometimes twice weekly- to empty. Only now, seven years later after continual immersion in manure have some of the chain links given way to inevitable corrosion! The body and bed are still in the same condition as the day they were bought. Overall very pleased with both the product and service.
Nick Ventham –
I purchased our Millcreek 97P 3 years ago and it has been ideal for our small farm. It is well built and has a good capacity for spreading manure from our cattle barn. Very pleased with it overall and especially with the after sales service from Kevin.
